It has been an exciting week!

I have a grandson! Alexander James was born on the 20 November at 10:18 a.m. He weighed 6lbs 8oz and is 20 inches long. He is the sweetest little baby and he and Mom are doing fine. Ouma is Afrikaans for Grandmother, me, needs the next 8 months to recover, Rachel announced she is expecting August 1st, 2009. She and Justin are very excited too. Gary has 4 beautiful grandsons in Arizona, very talented boys, with outstanding parents. So he is already a grandfather but now he is an Oupa too. Hanna and Andy have started a blog and the address is www.ajcooks.blogspot.com.

Jacob and Joseph took district for two of their theatrical pieces and are going to State. Their school also won at the Shakespearean Festival in Cedar City, UT. First place for the sweepstakes prize for perfect scores, and 2nd place for their ensemble piece. This week they are performing in Les Miserables. We went opening night and loved it. They did an amazing job.

Wrestling ended today for the three littlest boys, Caleb, Joshua and Gabriel. Football season is done for Joseph, Les Miserables finishes this week and Hanna's baby is here. I get a few day breather and then Thanksgiving and Christmas!

I have been working on my art for a 13 day show, so that is a big job for me. It is supposed to be delivered on the 24th November and the show is the 1st through the 13th December.

Jacob, Joseph and David slaughtered turkeys today for Thanksgiving. They are huge and we cooked a rooster for supper but the boys couldn't eat it, they were poultried out. I had a good laugh.

I feel so blessed! I have so much to be thankful for, My parents, husband, children and grandchildren are the best. I live for them all. I live in the most beautiful place, here on the river, in our little cabin. What more could I want!
